Hello, my name is Julie and I organise ‘Energizers’ along with a team of helpers. Energizers meet each Sunday morning between 11.00am -12.30pm for children aged 5 – 11 years. The group is fun-based, in an atmosphere where children feel relaxed and at ease. We do a variety of activities, games, sing songs and most importantly teach on the bible to encourage children to learn more about God.

Ignite! youth group meet every Friday 7.00pm and is at an exciting stage of development as we are beginning to meet together and decide what to do in the future. Our aim is to build relationships and determine how we can best serve God while enjoying socialising together with food and games!

Exciting times are ahead and as church is for youth just as much as for anyone else, it is important that each young person feels they can contribute to what we do together. In the future we hope to do more together than just socialising as we seek to be an impact in our community. We hope to see more young people joining us and we aim to develop each person who is already here. As we seek God’s guidance we believe He will use us to achieve His purposes!

We have recently purchased some very nice basketball nets and have been given a drum kit and keyboard for anyone with musical talent. If you’re new to the area and are looking to making friends then don’t hesitate to contact the church.

To ensure the safety of each child, our team works in compliance with the CRB and have a Child Protection policy and one of the requirements is for parents/guardians etc., whether visiting or a regular member, to complete and sign a slip, (Energizers Log-in!) which will be handed to you upon arrival.

Rules and guidelines are another requirement and are provided, not only for our benefit, but also for the children.

Please can you complete the slip and hand it to one of the leaders or ushers on duty.

The following children’s activities are available during the service:

  • Crèche (0-3 years)

This facility is set up for you to leave your child/children in the safe care, whilst you attend the meeting.

Format: plenty of toys to play with a nice drink and biscuit!

  • Mini-Energizers (3-5 years)

Nursery (This is for children who may have started school nursery and are used to some structure)

Format: Singing with Energizers group who then go out into their own group for bible theme/play activities.

  • Energizers (5 – 11 years)

Primary school children.

Format: Singing, game, lesson, craft and prayer taught with a bible theme.

  • Energizers Plus (11 – 14 years)

Secondary school children.

Format: game/puzzle activities and bible lesson with discussion.

*Children in crèche and mini-Energizers must be collected by persons responsible.
