Senior Pastor
Pastor Jim Master comes from an apostolic background and has seen amazing breakthroughs throughout his life. He has achieved a BA in Bible Studies, an MA in Conflict Management, and a doctorate in Religious Studies.
He was in business for 20 years before leaving to embark on full-time ministry. He has a gift for motivating and mobilising people in biblical teaching and prophecy.
In 2007 Rev. Dr. Jim Master began his ministry in Sheffield with a simple message, “Pass it on.” Pastor Jim’s heart is to see people praying more and mentoring one another so that God’s Kingdom can flourish. The Thursday evening Prayer Breakthrough meetings have been pivotal to the church’s growth and prayer is happening throughout the week in other group meetings too! Pastor Jim believes the church has grown numerically and spiritually as a result of increased prayer. He has written a few books/courses: Pass it on!, Leadership and Discipleship, Christian Development Course, and Living a Christian Life with Significance. They can be purchased by emailing .
He is dedicated to helping people to gain more biblical knowledge so their lives align with the word of God. He believes one of the ways this can be achieved is by joining CityLife Bible School. The school is an inspirational one that aims to motivate and help people grow in their faith.

Anthony Nicholson
Assistant Pastor
Pastor Anthony was born again in 1985 under the ministry of Dr Billy Graham and has been involved in Church leadership in Sheffield since the early 1990s, working in many areas of Church ministry including evangelism, children’s work, worship and pastoral ministry. He is married to Lynne and they have two children, Leah and Asher.
Anthony has been serving alongside Pastor Jim Master at City Life International Church 2009 as an assistant pastor and has been involved in many areas of the Church. He is currently involved in pastoral care and teaching various courses to help increase strength, development and commitment within the Church family.
Terence Williams
Assistant Pastor
There was a call of God in 2018 on Pastor Terence and Vivienne’s life , to join City Life International Church, having served many years in another part of the city. In September of that year they joined the leadership team. They have a heart for people which is reflected in both their secular work and the work the lead in, in the church. They lead on a number of areas in the church including:
The organising and leading of the ‘Welcome Team’
- ‘Make Lunch’ providing activities and a meal to families on low or no income during the school holiday
- Organising delivery of boxes of hope to families struggling initially to access food from a food bank
- Organising a number of ‘Pre-Loved’ school uniform events during the year for families struggling to access school uniform
